Hi you could try's phoning cricut. It's free to the states. The number is on the website. You may have to wait on hold for a while but they will answer and you will definitely get an answer.
Hi, My cricut expression is more then 5 years old. I used it one day and the next day I would not come on (it dose Nothing at all). I brought a new power cord from cricut and still nothing. I'm unable to buy a new one Please help if you can. Thanks!!
The same thing is happening with mine. I probably haven't used it over 12 times! It came on initially, then went off. It hasn't come on since! Don't look to get any help from Provo Craft, as you've probably already found out. I can't find any place that repairs them, but on eBay they sell refurbished ones...odd. So, someone knows how to repair them!
Upgrading your software. Can u try upgrading again? Or call for support. Sounds like you have corrupted your base program or operating system. Are you sure u selected the correct software for your device? ( correct model number) Try unplugging and restarting the device, if it continues to fail call for support, you’ll need to reinstall the OS. Are you on WiFi or hard wired internet connection? If the internet is unstable (usually WiFi, that may have caused the failure too. Since you have problems with the operating system itself, if the above suggestions fail, calling a tech with experience on that machine is essential
You can call customer support. They will have you install the Cricut Design studio just so you can access the firmware update. You must find a PC to do this - it will not work on your Mac that you use for everything. After your 10 year old PC takes 40 minutes to install and open Studio, you run it and restart your Cricut and all of your green lights stay on. You re-run it just to be sure, and all of your green lights stay on. You call back customer support and they have you cut out the drive belt to disable your Cricut and take a picture of it, then they will send you a refurbished replacement Cricut - white and gray, not white and pink like you own. This was my experience today and my only used twice Cricut is now ready for garbage pickup.
