I have tried turning it off and starting from scratch a hundred times but no success
Can you clear it when taping the display?
I had the same problem, mine needed calibration because I wasn’t able to clear the msg. Click all around it and see if it clears then go in and recalculate it. If it get to bad you will need to have it done. I had to have my display replaced. The repairman said he wasn’t able to enter the code(?). BTW; I found out that you should not leave the embroidery are connected, it should be off when not using, which reminds me I need to go and disconnect mine too.lol hope you’re able to recalibrate if that’s your problem. It could get costly if not.

SOURCE: husqvarna viking designer 2 embroidery machine. Wont work on my
Buy a PC, or get the program that mac has that supports pc programs. I've seen it work so I'm sure it's an optioin. Mac people don't like the program, but it will create an environment that supports PC programs.
SOURCE: Husqvarna Viking Designer I breaking needles
Dls8864's suggestion was a very good suggestion - make sure the metal stitch plate is pushed all the way to the back. Also make sure that the thread is feeding freely - if it is catching on something it can cause the needle to be pulled aside and make it break. Does the design fit properly inside the hoop you are using? If the foot and/or needle strike against the side of the hoop, that will cause a breakage. Is the bobbin thread okay - not making a bird's nest underneath?
SOURCE: Viking designer se screen is stuck in welcome
I purchased my designer se in 2006, and the frozen screen happened for the first time tonight as I was installing fonts on the machine. I did as suggested...got into update mode and installed the latest update and it worked! Thanks so much. I thought I would have to pay a lot of money to have the problem resolved. I am a happy DSE owner.
