To isolate the issue i recommend to connect the notebook to any external monitor and check whether the display is good or not......If the display is good on the external monitor then u need to fix your computer monitor by local service center.
yes it can be fixed depending on your model number if its the VS50605 they have a kit to repair the PIP module which controls vertical sync (Rolling) or you can bypass the module to correct it but you would lose the PIP function. Let me know if you need more info.
my screen is starting to roll on my tv as well. After about 10 minutes, it quits but gradually comes back. Is there anything I can do to fix it other than buying a new tv?
Yes, it is an expensive fix. You can try asking Best Buy if they can repair the unit if it is still under warranty, or what it will cost to have it repaired by the Insignia people.
If the player still works, you can try using it as a set-top unit and connect it to another monitor through the A/V outs.
