SOURCE: ge spectra gas stove top not lighting

There is nothing fancy about how the gas controls work on this unit. Do all burners give you the same problem? If so, it could be a kinked service hose or a service valve that has been partly shut. If it is limited to a single burner or two, the valve may be gummed up and should be replaced.

SOURCE: GE profile gas stove igniter don't stop igniting

take a look at the igniter located in the center of two burners. clean the gap with a stiff brush between the eletrode and the upper plate. the distance is preset at the factory. you may have enough buildup to close the gap enough to trigger the igniter.

SOURCE: Cleaning grates of GE profile gas stove

Sounds crazy, but this works. Soak the grates in warm to hot water with 2 dryer sheets (Bounce), let them soak for an hour or two. Unbeliveable how they came clean. I did have to use a Scotch Brite pad on the two that I use most, but it sure beats replacing them.

PGS920SEF1SS . GE Gas oven

So this F76 means that your touch control panel has failed. Try unplugging the unit for 5 minutes to reset the electronics. If that doesn't work, there isn't much you can do but have the entire touch control panel replaced. A lot of these new GE ovens are having this error so I wouldn't be surprised if they end up getting a class action lawsuit against them a couple years down the road.

Hi there - My GE Profile spectra XL44 Gas Stove shows code F1 with none-stop beeps, I only sgut the power off... - what should i do to kill that noise now ?

The F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced

We have a GE Profle XL44 Self Cleaning Dual Fuel Convection range that just started displaying an error code "F0". What is the issue? Can the oven/stove top be used while assessing this...

Hi

F0 Error indicates a bad control board and the control board (electronic control) should be replaced to solve this issue. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Ge gas stove display reads loc ref and no buttons work just replaced controll board

The keypad is "locked", hold down the button to remove this (usually "clear") for 5 seconds. Look closely at the buttons, one of them will have a picture of a padlock near it. That's the button that clears the "lock" condition. It's a safety feature to keep the kids from turning on the oven.

Ge oven codes

F2 means your oven temp got too high. At least, that's what the control boards thinks. More than likely you have a bad oven sensor or bad wire to it or a bad connection somewhere between the board and sensor.
