Sorry, we only try to answer questions for free. I'm a volunteer and we don't pay any money. I know what you mean, because I do need money too. But you have to ask this on the correct site. Before you press answer or post or send, please check the URL on top of the page.

If I ask a question, will I have to pay money for the help?

Hello,

There is a free section where you can post a question, but no guarantee you will get a response. You posted this in the free section. There are other levels you can post for money. There is the Premium section, and also the Chat section. Premiums usually get an answer...Chats almost aways get an answer.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for using Fixya.

NOTE: If you want to post a question in the free section, open a new post. Don't add to this one. Also, you can rate this solution, if you would. Thanks.

Do i pay for questions?

No its a free service. you only pay if you want to get your answer faster. With a cash reward involved, The experts will have a goal to fix your problem ASAP. If you have no money dont worry. It might just take a little longer than the ones who pay.

Is this free

The chainsaw...should be. I wouldn't actually pay money for one. As for the questions and answers, by posting in this section, it is. If you really want people to jump on the answer, or you can't get an answer on the free portion, then you can ask questions in the "pay" section as well.

FIXYA NOT PAYING PEOPLE?!

Unknown. I stopped answering the Premium questions as it seemed there were so many people jumping on them. I find I get more satisfaction in the freebie areas.
Do you have any where you were given the credit for it and not received money? I can't help but wonder if they think they get the money just for posting an answer as opposed to posting THE answer the customer selected? Interesting to find out about this even if I'm not in it for the bucks.
