Are there different types of calcium supplements?

Yes. There are actually two different forms of calcium supplement: calcium carbonate and calcium citrate. Calcium carbonate is the cheaper one of the two and should be taken with food. Calcium citrate can be taken on an empty stomach and is absorbed well for people who have low levels of stomach acid.

My dog is really crazy and Im trying to calm him down. I heard that there are some nerve calming supplements, do they actually work?

There are several brands of Calming Supplements that you can get on line, but I would consult a vet before giving this to the dog. Maybe the dog has a reason for behaving this way and giving him vitamins will not solve the real issue he may be having. Don't replace vitamins with an actual caring for the dog.
