Go to the foscam website look up your model camera and download the installation software, then install it.

Connect an external display to the computer. If the lines and distortion shows up on the external display its the video card, which is attached to the logic board. So, the whole logic board will need to be replaced.
If the lines and distortion don't show up on the external display the issue is the LCD module, which will need to be replaced.

Hi, I have an Ibook G4 and i have a problem with my backlighting, it is very dim hardly visable. Is there any free solutions ?
F1 and F2 on the keyboard make the backlight go dim or get brighter. connect an external display to the computer if the issue doesn't show up on the external display it's the LCD inverter board that will need to be replaced.

I can pretty much guarantee that this is an issue with your DNS servers.

Open System Preferences > Netowork > Show > Airport > TCP/IP.

Use the Open DNS Project's servers instead of your ISPs:

208.67.222.22 and 208.67.220.220

Check your pins at the connector.  I had a problem like that before and it was a student who unplugged the cable and tried to reconnect but bent 2 pins which shorted out the computer and monitor.  If that isn't noticable try connecting the monitor to another computer or laptop and if it still does the shorting issue then its in the monitor cable or board on the monitor.

Easy, FireWire.
Connect the 2 with a firewire cable. If reading off the laptop, for example, reboot it & hold the T key down while it boots up. A large firewire symbol shows on the screen indicating FireWire Target Mode. The laptop should be showing up as a firewire drive on the other Mac.
