SOURCE: bosch nexxt series 500. error eo4

I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old
man who has been making his own repairs for about
50 years. Therefore the washer or dryer ID doesn't
mean much to me. I came to fixya looking for a
schematic for an really old AM/FM radio and
discovered that more than 4,700 people were asking
for help with a washer repair. I recently had a washer
repair of my own and found an excellent video which
showed me how to take my machine apart. This
video made it possible for me to do my own repair. I
was so impressed with the video that when I saw all
these people needing help, I wanted to tell them
about it. If you have a top loader (washer) of the
direct drive type, this video might be a Godsend for
you. If you look at the back of your washer and the
panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove)
chances are you have a direct drive and this video
is just what you need. You can see this video at
www.acmehowto.com You will probably need
more help in determining what the problem is and
how to fix it. If your repair problem is a washer or
dryer I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com
where they have very good trouble shooting and
repair information on most washers and dryers.
I think you'll find what you need there. Don't worry
about the timer, they hardly ever go bad. Good
luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my
advice on fixya.

SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt 100 series front load washer

You first of all need to check the pump filter.
This should be located at the botom front right of washer.
Look for a drop down flap or cover, once located, unscrew filter anti-clockwise to remove and clean.

The pump itself is directly behind the filter housing, check there is nothing stuck in the housing.
This should solve the prob.
Please leave feedback for my solution.
Thankyou.

SOURCE: Error code E:01

Hi and welcome to Fixya, The E01 error for your bosch indicates a door lock problem has been detected at the control board. Insure the door is closed tight, turn your breaker off or unplug the washer for a couple of minutes and retry. Let me know what happens, ultimately it may be a faulty lock assembly, a loose wire harness etc. but we'll cross that bridge when we get there...if necessary. I'll watch for you to respond with the result's. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

I have a Bosch washing manchine nexxt 300 series, when i push the on button it will not come on

Check door switch. If OK then your probably looking at a motor control board problem. Ck connections on it. It is located in the back right corner of the machine. To get to it take the back off and it will be on the bottom left.

My Bosch Nexxt 300 series won't spin

Possible that there is no output to the motor from the control panel in which case the control panel is faulty or if you can check the voltage on the motor at the time of program start , then it can be confirmed on the motor failure, motor capacitor failure. Also check the spindle for free run in which case it which case it can be jammed.

Our start button is flashing on our bosch nexxt series dryer, but when depressed it doesn't start the dryer. We have just moved it into a new home.

Here is what happened to our nexxt dryer. So this may be the problem with yours. Our dryer is about 6 years old. The start/stop button was not making contact with the mini-switch. Used some hot glue under the lever that makes contact with the mini-switch. Put it back together and works great again. Saved about $260 on new control panel. Removing the control panel was pretty easy for a DIYer.

Unplug the dryer.

Remove the four screws that hold the panel in place. They will be hidden under caps on the housing, Pull off the panel. Be careful because the wires will prevent you from pulling it entirely off but you can pull it from the right corner up and flip it on its back side to expose the back of the panel.

The white wire guard will have to be removed. The wire ties holding the wires to the guard will have to be removed by cutting the ties. Replacement wires ties can be purchased at any home improvement store. Remove the control panel by pushing the plastic clips in that hold it to the housing. There should be 6 and two plastic clips on the right center of the panel. If done right it will easily pull off. If force is needed one or more of the clips have not been disengaged. Do not force it because it is made of plastic and will break.

Once the control panel is removed from its housing, the start/stop button can be identified-last one either on the right or left (can

Panel lights are on. push on button nothing happens

I have experienced the same thing a number of times. To solve, open the door, then turn the knob, and push the start button on and off, and push the delayed start button (3, 6, 12 hour). Then close the door, and retry. This routine seems to reset the system.

My dryer won't start. None of the buttons will light up when pushed. It is a Bosch Nexxt 100 series. It is plugged in and adjacent appliances (washer) work.

Remove the top panel and check for any wires that may have popped off from there connections!!
Do not forget to unplug the dryer from the power source for your safety!!
