I would check the gears near back cover. But you gotta carefully remove the cover up. I ended up broke the cable line once :D
You have a nice Black kitchen mixer tap by the way.

Most likely you need a new band I believe you can order one for $12.95 You need to remove the bottom panel and check the band first.

SOURCE: need regal breadmaker 6743 kneading blade

Hi

Regal accessories aren't always easy to find, as you've noted.

Then, I went hunting on eBay, found this merchant - - he's got quite the selection, and for $10, you can probably get precisely what you want.

Strangely enough, he happens to be auctioning a part of right now. Here's a screenshot

SOURCE: my breadmaker makes a clicking

That is normal. It is warming up and that is the clicking sound you hear. It should start after a few minutes (less than 30 minutes is normal).

Breadmaker refuses to progree past the resting stage

It sounds like the machine is been set into "dough" mode (in this mode, it's desgned to finish after it completes the kneading stage).

Are you certain you have it in it's "basic" mode? If you have different modes available, try "whole wheat" and see if it works properly.

If it still stops, the circuitry is probably shot and it would be cheaper to replace it than to fix it.

HI, I use the dough cycle and it takes 1 hour 20 minutes, but it actually only kneads the first 10 minutes and then here and there a minute for all together about 15 minutes of kneading. Is my machine not...

It sounds like everything is OK...machines knead a while,,,,rest a long time....knead a little rest along time etc......that resting allows the dough to rise....
