I had an old 3 wheel Fortress 2000 a couple years ago.
On mine, iIf the lever at the back (go-nogo) is in the neutral position
(drive not engaged) the buzzer would beep. Go to the back
and move the lever, so the drive is engaged.
Part of the program's design is to block both local and removable drives. That is supposedly one of the options, so the admin may be able to change that.
Sorry to say but Fortress Scientific quit making power bases many years ago, parts are obsolete. If you can find a wheelchair dealer that stocks Ottobock seating components, their hardware is very similar and may fit.
