M60-C3 having issues. Had dim spots, flickering. I purchased an LED strip kit and installed it. I then reassembled the TV and kit totally resolved issues except for the left 3 inches of the screen were completely black, vertical stripe. I then disassembled the TV partially, and tapped on a few of the boards at the bottom of the screen and the black stripe area came back to life. Reassembled and have just flashes when powering on. Not sure if I broke something or maybe a ground issue?
You were lucky, only 99% of people here get a satisfactory results trying to repair their own televisions, even partially as you have.
The most likely cause is a bad connection on a ribbon cable or a dry joint on that board that you tapped. Try reseating the ribbon cables first. If that doesn't work, remove the boards and on the soldered side, look for gaps where the components meet the solder.

thanks for your advice. I've checked all ribbon cables for damage and reseated them all. I've inspected the T-Con board visually. Nothing I see. I'm frustrated at this thing. Was so close to having it fixed. How easy is it to break the t-con board?
