The vertical lines on the Samsung UN55MU8500FXZA Television (Version FA01) could be caused by a variety of issues, including a malfunctioning component in the television, a loose cable connection, or a defective display panel. The best way to determine the cause is to perform a thorough visual inspection of the television, checking all connections and components to ensure they are secure and properly functioning. If the issue persists after this, then it may be necessary to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the television.
appears other people are having the same issue with Samsung TV's.
Try calling Samsung or wherever you bought it from.
I've been dealing with Samsung on this issue.
We got a 40" LCD in October 2010 and it started flickering January 2012.
Changing it from 'standard' to 'movie' helped (natural and dynamic flicker)
Then it started flickering in 'movie.'
I called Samsung and told them this issue is all over the internet. They agreed to pay for repair, parts and labor, even though it's out of warranty.
The guy just left and this is what I know. He said that in the 46" and larger, the issue is a jumper. In the 40" and, I think, smaller, it's the panel. He's ordering the panel and will be back to replace it when it comes in from the warehouse in CA.
This could actually be an issue with either your DMD board or your Video board. With the TV on, select your menu, if the white dots are still there, the issue will be with the DMD board, but if they don't appear on the menu, the issue would be with the Video board.
is the eprom settings set correctly for the input beeing used, you must enter the service mode to inspect and adjust the settings, call your local dealer for assistance.
