Push display - 5 - vol + or - then power. Clear CH setup if there and if the right numbers are not zero the push 8 then enter, that will clear the numbers, like reset. IF unit no workie the start up that way and any zero with numbers are what the units problems are.

The blinking is an indication that the set detected a problem. The code usually indicates a bad regulator circuit. If yu can solder, you can probably fix this your self. Please let me know if you wish to attempt the repair. If not, expect a parts cost in the $25-$40 range plus the local labor rate for the repair.

The 2 blinks usually mea an over current problem. Perhaps the most common cause of this is a shortde Horizontal Output Transistor (HOT). If you can solder, you should be able to repair this yourself. Realize that there are potentially dangerous high voltages present inside the set even when unplugged. Look for a 3-legged ransistor attached to a heatsink close to the flyback (part with large red wire coming out the top). The part will be marked C5438 or something similar. Post that marking here nad I'll confirm the entire part number.
Keep us posted.

I
have over 10 years experience in electronic tech
support.
I
know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've
described can't be fixed with troubleshooting.
Your TV
will have to be repaired. There is a part that has developed a defect
and needs to be replaced. If you're still in warranty, the TV will be
repaired at no charge to you. The warranty would likely be at least
one year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. If you
purchased an extended service
plan
they will repair the TV at no charge as well.
If the TV is no
longer in warranty, it will likely cost a minimum of $150 parts and
labor. This is assuming that you only need one circuit
board
or small part. If the problem is more than one of the circuit boards,
the price of repair could go much higher.
I hope I've provided
you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an
informed decision as to how to proceed from here. Please be sure to
vote on my response. I hope I've earned a good rating from you
today.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
