SOURCE: My clutch pedal has no resistance and I can't shift gears...
If you have a hydraulic clutch, it is conceivable that the fluid has leaked out. For areas of leakage check up under the dash where the clutch master comes through the firewall., or check down at the transmission at the clutch slave, which is the small cylinder on the transmission. You should also fill the reservoir immediately as well.
If yours is the adjustable type of clutch, then you need to have it ajusted immediately

SOURCE: Have a Schwinn xr7 exerciser bike, need new pedals or straps
I am not sure what type of bike you have (did not bother looking it up), but I myself too have a schwinn exercise bike (recumbent) and the straps recently broke, and when I sent customer service an email from their site they said they sell replacement straps.
I included the kind of bike I had when I inquired so the price given to me might be exclusive to my bike only, so you'll have to contact customer support yourself to see if they sell replacement straps for your bike and if so how much.

loosen the cable clamp screw, position the brake where you want it and then re-tighten the cable clamp screw
SOURCE: No resistance when I pedal the stationary exercise bike
Hi,
I looked into this thinking is must be a simple belt, or tention wheel, but these devices are much more complex than the average exercise machine. See the Recumbent selection here.
It appears that the tentioning device is a magnetic brake.
This would require that it be plugged into a power source and programmed to provide a desired tention.
I've never used one of these so I can't say what kind of programming options there are or where they are found.
Hope this helps.
Richard.
