Hi,

I got the chat , but some how it got disconnected.
But i would like to help you in this aspect.
HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, and supports transmission of both audio and video in high fidelity.

First make sure these things,

Both your computer and your TV will need to support HDMI interface.
It's quite a recent thing in PC graphics cards, so you may have to resort to S-Video, DVI or VGA for the video, plus a 3.5mm stereo cable (or the optical TOSLINK equivalent) for the sound.

Do a quick google for this on the AVForums site where you'll find numerous threads covering this problem. First, select the HDMI input before turning on the blu ray player. The handshake over HDMI is the problem. I have the same problem with a Technika blu ray which is fine on my other TVs.
If this doesn't solve it then you ned a firmware update which can be downloaded from Sharp's website and installed using a USB pendrive or by PCMCIA card from Sharp if you have an older model with a rocker on off switch and no USB update port on the back of the TV.

I have a similar problem. The Sharp TV aquos appears to be shutting down my blue ray player and dvd recorder when connected via HDMI. They work fine and never close down when I connect them via the rca cables either single video connection or a composite 3 cable rca lead. I have 3 HDMI inputs on the tv and the problem occurs on all 3. Any suggestions?

My Sharp Aquos 60 inch TV was hit by lightning and the hdmi and av ports do not work IF I replace the main board will this help?

Yes, since the inputs on these sets are located on the main board only.

SHARP AQUOS LC-70LE632U will not accept a signal through any of the HDMI ports. Whats the problem

Do a reset to this set and check. If it do not help you; contact any service technician.
To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Normally, these board have no repair. It will be best to replace it.

im not sure but could it be a comparability issue with the device and the wake up signal from the device to the tv? android systems use a Linux based file system, so the problem may be in the tv's input settings. hdmi input from the device to the tv. and then go to tv input mode and see if putting the device in another hdmi port doesn't work.

Hi, If you just have your Bose system connected with a fiber optic " TOSLINK " coming from the televisions digital output this will surely fix the problem. I am assuming of course you have some sort of HDMI connection. The T.V. may now interpret this as some sort of sharing violation while "STREAMING " from Netflix. If that is how you have the t.v. connected you may want to disconnect the hdmi while listening to a Netflix movie through the bose. That should take care of the conflict. Does this happen when you input certain signals to the HDMI

ports? Or all signals (e.g. 1080i, 720p, 1080p, etc.)? And which ports are affected - side HDMI, rear component, etc.?

I had this issue and Sharp sent out a local repair tech to install a new main circuit board, then two weeks later, a new side board (where the side inputs connect into the system)... their first visit allowed my TV to accept signals in the rear HDMI ports (all signals worked well), but then I couldn't get a signal processed via the side HDMI port. At first, just 1080p would not display (caused the OPC/power green light blinking), and after a few days, any signal hitting that port would cause the error lights to come on. But as I said, eventually, a new side board resolved that issue.
