What is the process to code remote to a TV for ct877 Toshiba remote

The CT877 remote was included with several Toshiba TVs, including the 26DF56. Thus the programming codes for the remote are in the TV manual on pages 16-17. This manual is available on the support page: https://support.dynabook.com/support/staticContentDetail?contentId=2844172&isFromTOCLink=false . The current link to the manual is https://content.us.dynabook.com/content/support/manuals/userguides/su2844172/xxdf56_om_e.pdf . It does not have any codes to control other TVs.

A universal remote that was programmed six months after your Spectre TV was manufactured would probably be a better solution for you. I hope this helps.

Hello!!! It has been awhile, so I do hope that you were able to get your remote working with the tv. If you have not, or are having any other troubles, here is something that will help you. Follow the link below, and you will find instructions for a power scan. the power scan scans the tv for all codes on the tv for the code that works with the remote. It sounds like a tedious process, but it is actually very quick, simple, and efficient.

1. Manually turn on the component you want the remote
to control.
2. Press and hold the component key (TV, DVD•VCR, AUX, SAT•CBL) you wish to program. The LED INDICATOR turns on and remains on. If you release the component key at any time during the Direct Code Entry procedure, the LED INDICATOR blinks four times, and the process is exited.
3. While holding down the component key, enter the four-digit code. While you are pressing the numbers, the LED INDICATOR turns off.
4. After the fourth number is entered, the LED INDICATOR turns on. At this time, release the component key. If the LED INDICATOR turns off, you have entered a valid code and have followed the correct procedure for Direct Code Entry.
If the LED INDICATOR blinks four times when the component key is released, This means that a programming error has occurred. In that case, repeat the Direct Code Entry process from step 2.

I HAVE A TOSHIBA 32A33 TV AND JUST UPGRADED MY RECEIVERS AND REMOTES I CANNOT GET THE DIRECT TV UNIVERSAL REMOTE RC64 CODES THAT THEY HAVE PROVIDED TO WORK, ANY ADDITIONAL CODES ? PLEASE HELP

Not really too sure about Direct TV. But give me some time, I have asked some other Experts here for their help. Hopefully one or two of them may have an answer..
