Anyone know where to get a replacement remote for my fireplace with heater? I just need a new remote, it was damaged before I bought it at Walmart and I was told they don't have replacement remote for it.

1. Regarding the remote control for your electric fireplace, I hope you have installed a fresh battery / fresh batteries in it and tried it again.

2. If you have not yet contacted Walmart directly and asked about obtaining a replacement remote control for your electric fireplace, then, I suggest you do so. I hope you have the sales receipt for the fireplace. If not, the information here may be instructive:

My problem is I have a electric fireplace the insert is a colemen and the heater stoped I bought it a Costco about 4 years ago

It may need repairing, do not take risks trying to fix it without an expert. But its 4 years old so its better to replace it with new.

Maybe its the fireplace's ignition spark box at the bottom of the fireplace, its behind the bottom vents and bought one on line and replaced it, easy as pie. Best of luck

My electric fireplace don't work,I replaced the electric swith but still wont work,gas comes,I noticed that it does not make the noise while turning on that it use to make before.

I took the fireplace's direct connect ignition spark box out of the bottom of the fireplace, its behind the bottom vents and bought one on line and replaced it, easy as pie. Best of luck

Make sure that none of the elements are touching each other. Also look for signs of a grounded wire or damage to the heating elements.

GTI fireplace with remote

The remote controls have two batteries. The one in the receiver was dead. It, turned the fireplace on. Because the remote overrides the ON/OFF switch in the fireplace--I could not turn the unit off. I did not know this. Did not know that a dead battery could turn a fireplace on. I think this is a safety issue because I am not always at this home. The remote was made in China. Stupid design and I will have to do more to cure this problem. I may bring the situation to Consumer Safety. Fed. Gov. because I can't be the only person with the problem. No manual came with the remote. Hence no warning.

Have he280 installed neither pressure or suction off furnace will function so water turns on but light suck or blow on hose ( matter where connected) works any tips OS suggestions would be great

What substitute capacitor can i use for the N6 assistant motor. the original Cap is .02 microfarad. It just burnt out and iv tried the whole of SA no one has. Thanks...Alvin
