It beeps for about 20 seconds them the intensive light blinks and it stops.

SOURCE: F & P washing machine GW709AU not competing rinse cycle and then beeps and flashes light.
My Whirlpool washing machine is not stopping after completion of wash cycle instead it is repeating the cycle again. It is not consistent, but out of 3 washes 1 wash is happening that way...we are manually stopping machine by gaurding carefully when timer shows nearer to completion.

I've had this happen before. Try unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for about five minutes. Plug in and try again.

Clogged pump stopped up drain. If the washer does not think all water was pumped out in 8 minutes then it shuts down. Slow drain is my first inclination.

1. Wake the washer by pressing any button. 2. Wait 5 seconds. 3. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously. As long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an “E” followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. let me know what code come up... hope it helps
