Is it normal for rubber hose to expand on faucet spray hose thus disenabling said hose when you try to pull it thru?

SOURCE: water trickles out of sprayer head on pull out faucet.

Your problem is: soaked in vinegar water but did nothing. took off spray head from hose and the water stream is very small in diameter. only 1 year old faucet. could cartidge be bad or clogged? water pressure in rest of house is fine.

It is very possible that some debrie has come up in the water and is partially clogging the faucit. For this you would have to turn the water off and disassemble the parts clearing all the small passages, a bit of wire or paper clip works. Perhaps for a pro? Your problem is a simple one.

1. Turn off water to faucet.
2. Place a towel(s) in the base of the sink(s) to prevent any parts from going down drain.
   
3. Remove the handle to the faucet. (single handle only)
   
4. If not a single handle then remove spout from faucet.
5. If a single handle remove cap carefully and any loose parts.
6. Gently turn spout side to side while lifting to remove.
7. You will see a hole with a very small valve where the water comes out to the spout on the base of the faucet.

1. Remove this valve (which is a backflow preventer) and replace.
2. Reassemble and test.

sounds like your diverter is stuck or improperly installed ,try tapping at diverter location to free up diverter the other thing to try is remove the little device on the end of spout make sure its not clogged with debri

SOURCE: Sulfur smell from the Delta faucet

Your incoming water from the well is contamiated. A delta faucet will combine oxygen with the water and make the sulfer smell come out. It could also be iron bacteria causing the smell. Look in the back of your toilet tank and see if your have reddish or black stringy algae looking stuff growing in there. If you do, you have iron bacteria and it will smell.

The universal hose will not work on certain model faucets,best bet contact manufacturer and they may provide you a new hose at little or no cost if you tell them you will put a different brand faucet in.
