Question about Lands Phones
The incoming ring tone is "fixed" to distinguish it from the various internal ringtones.

this is a change your system administrator will need to handle, (or your phone tech). There is an option in the under "system options" called internal ring cadence for external callers; this is where you can have the system do a double ring for External and a single ring for internal or vice versa.

Testimonial: "It worked !!. Thanks !!"
Rather than refer you, here's the quick answer. Press PROGRAM and the INTERCOM button twice. Now use the Navigator key up/down or dial 01-30 for the 30 different tones and press ENTER or STORE.
What was so difficult about that?
It also works for each SCO line button. You have to program each one on each phone.

I had the same problem. I was advised by Panasonic support that the PBX system needed a firmware upgrade to solve the issue. (still waiting for technician to do this...)

SOURCE: MY EXTENSION DOESN'T RING FOR
JUST AS YOU'RE TOO LAZY TO USE THE SHIFT KEY AND LOSE THE CAPS LOCK KEY, I'M TOO LAZY TO LOOK UP THELINK TO A MANUAL. HOWEVER, I CAN TELL YOU THAT YOU COULD GO TO THE PROGRAMMING MANUAL FOR A PANASONIC KX-TD 816/1232 AND LOOK AT DIL 1:N PROGRAM 603 AND 604. IT'S WHERE YOU SET THE EXTENSIONS THAT RING WHEN A CALL COMES IN.
