Question about Hobart 120/240V SR24H Undercounter Hot Water Sanitizing Dishwasher with Detergent Pump

Open Question

SR24H does not finish the all cycle properly, there is a lot of water still in the unit when it stops, also, at begining of the wash cycle the fill selenoid valve works 5 or 6 times before it stops.

SOURCE: Drum filling with water

An obstruction in the water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off You can easily open the valve and clean it (from scale or other dirt). Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from machine before doing it !!!! Good luck !

see if the water coming in is hot or cold by turning the water faucets off and on to see if one fills and the other dont and replace the valve

check hose to water level switch, if it has had an out of balance situation it can loosen or detach hose. replace hose firmly back on switch or replace hose if that doesn't work.

most new washers have cold water only rinse and spray rinse ck cold water coming into machine during wash if no cold comes in suspect cold side of fill vale not opening ..could be wiring issue or a bad valve

Not finishing cycle
Is it draining out the water?? Dishwashers fill, spray, and drain more than several times during a cycle. After starting a cycle, let the unit fill, start spraying, and then cancel the cycle--listen for the drain pump activating and pumping out the water. If water is not being drained properly(within a certain time limit), the unit will error code out and stop. Also, make sure the filter is clear--if it gets clogged with "muck", enough water won't be sprayed onto the dishes properly, the pump will require too much energy to try to pump water, the control will sense this and shut down the unit to protect it.

Washer filling problem
Check to hose to the water level control. It goes from the outside of the tub up to the control which is located in the same area as the timer. It's usually round with the end of that tube and at least 2 wires connected to it. Disconnect the hose and blow air through it. Reconnect and try again. Still no fill, try filling with that tube disconnected. Watch it the entire time as with the tube off the water should not stop. If it fills all the way with the tube off the water control unit has a problem.

This is a Maytag LSE7906A stacked washer/dryer. The wash cycle fills and drains properly, but the rinse cycle won't fill on all 3 programs. Just sits and waits...
What water temp do you wash on and what water temp for rinse?

Agitator starts at begining of cycle before washer is full
Please be carful as running the agitator without enough water will overheat and kick out the motor, however it should be ok when it resets itself.
Yes, the machine should stop agitating when you lift the lid so this too is part of the problem.
After looking at the print I can only suggest that the cam contacts in the timer ( contacts 12 and 14) that start the motor are burned and stuck together.

MILDEW SMELL COMES FROM WASHER
. Set the washing machine on the highest water level, temperature on hot and the wash cycle to normal.
2. Fill a gallon jug with hot tap water. Once the cycle begins, let it run for a minute or two, then stop the cycle, open the lid and slowly add the gallon of hot tap water. Don't overfill — you just want to raise the water level so that it is able to reach and clean the inside top rim.
3. Add 2 to 4 cups of household chlorine bleach and restart the cycle. In a couple of minutes, stop it again and just let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Afterward, let the cycle finish, and open the lid to air out the inside.

Washing machine begins the wash cycle going immediately to the agitate cycle, without filling up with water first.
water will not stop running into drum unless shut off at faucet does not happen all the time and wife can't find her rubber boots

Cold water will not stop filling during rinse
while the unit is filling in the warm cycle. reach behind and shut off the hot water tap.I bet the water flow stops filling, if so, you would need to change the inlet valve on the machine. You see, in warm, if the cold is not filling, you still hear the hot filling and the unit will advance. The rinse cycles are mostly "cold" only. if the valve is not opening it will not allow it to advance from the rinse section on the board.

If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:

Water-heating cycle
Timer
Water-heating cycle Manydishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature,as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses afterit has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-settemperature. What happens next, depends, as follows:

  • On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time.


  • Onothers, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the highertemperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn'tbeing heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element orthermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it nevercontinues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycleproblem" is fixed too.


Timer Timersdon't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to beworking properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in oneplace--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault.Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

hobart sr24 motor mounting plate gasket leaking The motor mounting plate gasket in the bottom of the machine keeps leaking, i have cleaned the gasket surfaces, replaced the gasket and the motor clips the machine runs fine for a few days then begins to leak again. i adjust the motor and works again for a few days then leaks i am at the end of my rope do not know what im doing wrong or what to do to fix this problem
