Question about Electrical Supplies

Hello I have a generator honda inverter eu6500is and after 30 min aprox without load it stopped and Oil and overload alarm stay on. I let cool down for 15 minutes and he start again and stopped in 30 minutes aprox with the same alarms. Why?

The two alarms simultaneous is questionable. My first thought is faulty control board but requires further troubleshooting. Check for loose cable connections and grounds.

As a test; check oil level. If oil level is safe, disconnect oil level sensor and see if problem goes away. If problem reoccurs, troubleshoot oil warning circuit.

Air conditioner compressors require a greater amount of electricity (measured in both volts and amps, but the amps are what is causing the overload). You will need a larger generator to run your AC. You might be able to run a smaller AC unit, but always check the Amps required and compare that to the Amps the circuit breaker on the generator is rated for.

The inverter signals the throttle motor, which is really just a small servo motor on the top of the carb. When the inverter senses more load, it increases the throttle to compensate.

Stops generating and just idles

Check if there any alarm on monitor by pressing button several times. It has code like E-number. Replace spark plug, fuel filter. Clean carburator, spark arrester. Check wiring of thermosensor.

this sounds like a capasitor/resistor that is getting hot under load once it is switched off and cools down it works until it gets hot again similar to that of a cars ignition coil which will get hot and cut the vehicle out but once it cools it will start again.

check load amp on your machine capacity - adjust overload circuit preset on your machine capacity.

It is a inverter protection activation (e-22). Usually followed by e-20,e-10, e-04. Could be a short the inverter or the gcu.
