Monogram ZDIS150 Icemaker. Why is it making high-pitched "dial tone" noise when it runs through its cycle?

How deep do you want to get into this?It sounds like the wash pump motor bearings that are worn.You can pull the unit out flip it over and wd40 the bearings in the motor or you can replace the bearings.Try to lube them first.

Have you checked to assure the long narrow hose that comes from the upper lback left corner is attached both on top and inside the water tray? This drove me nuts for 3 hours.

A loud high pitch whine while running the dishwasher means that there is something caught in the chopper assembly. To get to the chopper assembly you need to take the racks out and take the pump apart from the inside of the dishwasher. The chopper assembly looks like a metal grate with holes in it. And it might not even be stuck in the grate but somewhere in the pump area due to the water being pumped out, so the best idea is to take the whole thing apart and clean everywhere. However I do not recommend doing this unless you are completely certain you will remember where the screws and gaskets go, otherwise you risk damaging your pump or house from a leak or improper installation. You have been warned.

I have a very high pitched sound and when I move the tv it will stop for a second or two and then start again. The sound sometimes stops all together. But very high pitch sound.

It is probably the drum bearing going bad and yes it is okay to use but will probably sart clunking when it wheres out all the way.

Instructions Things You'll Need:

GE/ lg washer

Step 1 Unplug the washer.
Step 2 Twist the control dial around the cycle settings.
Step 3 Place the dial on any setting other than the final spin.
Step 4 Ensure that the water line is securely attached to the washer.
Step 5 Plug the washer back into the wall (making sure it has gone at least 30 seconds without power).
Step 1 Turn the dial around the cycle settings, but do not lift it to start the cycle.
Step 2 Unplug the washer.
Step 3 Plug the washer into the wall after 30 seconds without power.
Step 4 Lift the washer lid five times, making sure it reaches a height of at least 6 inches or more. There should be no more than a 15-second interval between lifts.
Step 5 Listen for a clicking noise. If a click is not heard, repeat steps 1 to 5 until you hear it.
Step 6 Place a small load of laundry into the washer and start the cycle.
Step 7 Watch the load throughout the wash to ensure the washer is working properly.

Hi, Remove the rear inside freezer panel and you will be able to see the evaporator fan motor. The fan motor is what is squeeling.

Freezer fan noise

What you need is a new updated computer main board. Thay are fairly cheap and easy to install. My GE Side By Side did the same thing and the new motherboard worked like a charm. I think that this is the one you need but you can email the seller with your model number and he will tell you which one to get WR55X10552 GE Refrigerator Mother Board fits WR55X10335

GE Fridge PFSS6PKXASS won't make ice. Replaced icemaker,filter,water valve. Everything seems to be working. I did notice the ejection fingers are down in the tray instead of up. Did the same on 2 icemakers I tried Pressed reset button too. Any suggestions,??? Thank you
