Ford 2000 tractor stalled bush hogging (Too slow near the fence line, no engine prob). PTO was engaged, was in 2nd/high. Cant get it out of gear to restart.Cant lift the bush hog up--cant do anything.

Have someone help you rock the tractor back and forth and see if it lets go ,if not jack up rear wheels and rock them back and forth.

Pto on our 165 massey furguson will not turn fast enough to run bush hog can anyone trouble shoot?

Hi Lynn:
The speed of the PTO on every tractor I've owned has been directly related to engine RPM and there has been no other way to change it.
Did your bush hog work with it at one time? If it did, what has changed since then? That might give an indication of a possible fix. It may be that the tractor and bush hog are not compatible.
