Thermador column freezer water dispenser control does not work but ice maker is working. There is a blinking light on top of word "light" on front dispenser control. Replaced the filter but it hasn't help.

please lower the rate of ice being dispensed to see if the problem is overcome or you can lower the temperature of the freezer. I would try each separately and check results before combining the two methods. Thank you.

ahhhh... for me, it is a bad appliances and need to check ( if it is new, you have to return it to the owner and replace a new one) to the technical experts.... if you want to...

May be it needs reset. Unplug the unit for 12 hours and then reconnect to see if that makes any difference.

There should be a plastice hinge cover on the left top hinge on freezer door. Take it off and press the plug together firmly. Try that and let me know, Sea Breeze

That is most likely a dual water control valve stuck open on back of refrigerator near floor. One side feeds ice maker and other side feeds the water dispenser. If the ice maker side began to leak slowly it would create quite a mess of ice flowing over ice maker and freeze every place it could inside the freezer. No solution but just a warning. We had this same thing happen. They sent a repairman to replace the control board. Then did it again. Just before Christmas, the WATER started dispensing by itself. Luckily, I was nearby and heard it or the damage would have been extensive from flooding. They are now 'working on' getting a response from Thermador. I feel like this thing is just a homeowners claim waiting to happen.

Yes, If you will try a couple things. Fill ice maker with water and let freeze. Tell me if it will drop the ice when frozen, Let me know that and your model number. I am doing this to decide which one is the problem. The ice maker or the water control valve. Sea Breeze

We had the same problem. When we removed the ice receptical the mechanism that turned the ice make was broken and it stopped the ice from being dispensed. I hope it is that simple for you!

I assume you mean do not work? I have the freedom 18" with through the door ice water. Themador has replaced the whole unit already. The second stoped woking after six weeks, call is in to repair again......
