ADS ms3. Why did it quit working?

if the fuse has not blown it could be the ignition control module it controls the dash and a few other things.

Do you have any separate relays or fuses that may have blown out?

You can buy fuses from Walmart, Homedepot and or Lowes. Swap out the blown fuses with properly matching fuses.

If a speaker goes "bad" it usually can not be fixed. Speaker systems use different speakers for different tones. This sounds like the speaker used for bass is not working. Check if there is a fuse in the speaker cabinet somewhere. Also, is there bass gone on both speakers?

I doubt there is a fuse. There are only four possibilities:
1. Speaker blown. 2. Wire slipped off of speaker terminal. 3. Wires from radio to speaker is shorted (not likely). 4. Radio is bad.
My guess is speaker is bad. Try pushing the cone inward while the radio is playing to see if you are getting any sound from the speaker if you do then the speaker is bad and needs to be replaced.

it sounds like one channel in your amp had shorted and letting dc go to the speaker...a speaker is an electromagnet and requires ac to make it pulse..the amp has a blown channel and would have to be repaired and a factory service center...there is no quick fix..

check to see if your speaker wires have come loose and are shorting together this will cause the amp to quit.

would try it with the correctly rated fuse as there may not be enough wattage / current to power the bass unit with a thin wire.

Also how long ago was it flooded as it may take quite a while in a warm area to dry off completely ?

Check for a blown fuse.

You most likly have an audio output IC blown in this unit. Most self units under 200 bucks, are not worth the labor to repair them, but if this unit cost more then this and is less then a couple of years old, It may be worth investing some case to have this unit repaired.
