This happened to me too!
Turn the dial to setup, push the menu button & select reset all. This will restore the defaults & let you use the flash again.

Use a cardreader to download your pictures. Download them to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you can do anything you want with them.

SOURCE: nikon coolpix p90 how to reset to factory settings

It doesn't reset everything, but there is a "Reset All" command in the Setup menu. Press the MENU button, then the wrench and then "Reset All."
This reset leaves the date/time, white balance, language, and video mode alone.

How to reset frequency dvr h 264?

I am assuming you will need a system maintenance procedure to reset everything to factory default setting. See section 3.7.5 in this manual.

Factory reset

In camera settings menu, on the bottom of the screen you find Settings. In Settings is the only reset the camera knows. You only will reset the menus and shooting options. Date, time, language and video output settings are not reset.
If your camera has serious trouble, accessing menus or something like that, there is nothing like pressing a button for several seconds and everything will be ok. (not in the manual)

Reset factory setting

Although Nikon cameras can be set back to the factory settings in several steps, I can't find anything in the Canon manuals, that says how to reset the camera or to put it back in the factory settings.
Perhaps you did change the firmware once. Most of the time there is a descriptions, how to do that and what to do if things go wrong. This could be something to reset the camera.

We have a KDL-26U2000, the problem is the menu button doesn't bring up the menu?? When you press the button on the remote or the top of the tv the green light will flash so the tv must recognise that I'm...

Checking your remote can be done with any digital camera since they can 'see' the infrared light from them but I suspect the remote is working; generally, if they are emitting anything, it will be sending correct correct pulse trains.
Having the camera 'live' you will be able to see that the remote is working by aiming the remote at the camera's lens and pressing any button while watching the camera's LCD display. The output of the remote will appear as white or near white blinking lights.
> I've tried to reset to factory settings but when I've got into the service menu I can't input anything?
Often the service settings require entering some code (password) sequence to access factory settings and it may not be possible to enter the code if one or the other end of the IR system isn't functioning.
Summary; I think the remote transmitter is OK but the receiver in the set is not decoding the received signal despite it indicating that something was received.
I think the set itself is a fault and you will need a tech on site on in the shop to search for the right board to replace since the IR receiver may be part of the main board (expensive) or a separate assembly (somewhat less expensive).

Hi, I am trying to reset my acer desktop to factory settings. I have tried the acer erecovery management restore and nothing happened. I have also hit delete at startup and clicked "restore default...

You can download the windows installation from the Microsoft website, and run it. Select the Custom Install option to run a Clean Install and select to Reformat the drive, this would clean the drive and reinstall windows, which would reset everything to the factory settings.
That's an alternate route to go if the recovery software on your computer is not functioning properly.
Hope this helps!
