You are right,but if the wobble is not too big to do drill jobs it can be used.Sometimes drill jobs need to be precise,so the you will need it just aligned.

Unfortunately, an online manual for that model isn't available online from the delta site, but if you go here you'll at least be able to access an exploded parts diagram and list. Perhaps that will help.
If you really need a manual, take a look at this list and maybe there's something there you can use.
