Turns out the igniter was good but the igniter ground was bad. Once I fixed the ground I got great spark and it fired up just fine. Thanks for your suggestion!

SOURCE: heater will not run

You don't say, but I am assuming that the motor is running and there is combustion in the combustion chamber and the heater is running fine, then the reset trips. Is this correct? If so, chances are the Safety Control (reset) is defective. Part number HA3003. The photocell could also be at fault. Check for a dirty lense on the photocell.

But---If there is no combustion in the chamber, then the photocell detects a no-flame condition and then it trips the reset.

My Maytag gas dryer, Model No, LDG7500AAW will run but not heat. The igniter glows red, but the gas will not flow. What might be wrong?

Replace the 2 burner coils ,if the igniter keeps cycling trying to start the flame. If it doesn't replace the flame sensor mounted on the side of the burner tube.

Kenmore model 721 850 the cooling fan doesn't run all the time

This could be due to a intermittent micro switch, or a faulty cooling fan. This is critical in keeping the magnetron cool when cooking.

Cooling fan continues to run after engine shut off.

The fan runs for a short time, after ignition off, to continue to cool the hot engine.

Furnace is a Rudd UGEB model. Burners ignite and but the blower (squirrel cage) doesn't start. After a couple minutes they turn off and the blower starts and runs for less than a minute and shuts off....

Sounds like the fan limit was not replaced correctly. You can try switching the blower to the On position (instead of Auto), if the furnace runs properly with the blower on that would be the most likely culprit.

Whirlpool dryer drum doesn't turn. Hear fan motor and gas ignition but drum doesn't move. Tried overide switch on door to verify the drum doesn't move. I am looking for the owner manual but I...

the belt broke, you can buy a kit with the belt, rollers and pulley, change out everything and you'll be good to go.next time send the model number.good luck.while you have the dryer apart, vac out all the dust and lint and if you have a shop vac put it on blow and blow the motor out and clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into, also if your vent line is a long run remove it from the back of the dryer and blow it out with a leaf blower if you have one.

The fan doesn't work on my '89 cavalier 2.8. I replaced the temp sensor and the fan heat switch just above it, still no good. I bypased the switch and wired the fan direct to ignition side of fuse...

Can't remember where they are exactly on yours but there are a group of three or four relays either back on one of the fenders or on the firewall. One of those is for the fan.

1995 chevy lumina sensor went out and fan wont turn

How did you determine that the sensor failed. Did the check engine light come on? When you say that the fan won't turn, do you mean that it won't turn on and run or that you can't physically turn it by hand. To determine this, disconnect the electrical connector to the fan and try to turn it by hand. It should turn easily. If it doesn't then it must be replaced. If it does then reconnect the electrical connector to the fan and try to operate it by disconnecting the temperature sensor lead and placing a jumper wire between the terminals of the harness. turn the AC control to AC/MAX and turn the ignition key to on. If the fan runs then the problem is the sensor. If it doesn't then check the fan control relay and any related fuses. WARNING : Use extreme caution when testing the fan circuit. Never attempt to turn the fan with the electrical connector in place. The fan can operate at any time even if the engine is off.

Reddy heater R100B gives of fumes when i use it

Not familiar with the R100B unit. Is it kerosene, propane or something else. Anytime a combustible heater gives off fumes it is not burning the fuel completely. This could be clogged filters, wrong fuel ratio or something else. Send me more info and I will try to solve your problem.
