This problem can come from both the blender and or even the circuit powering it. First make sure that the outlet you have your blender plugged into is powered and not ripped If your blender still is not turning on then you may have a faulty motor or motor connection. Or the fuse could be blown and needs to be replaced.Or it could also be jamming for this you must first need to disassemble the drive and then turn the blade shaft. If it seems to be stuck or jammed here check what is the causing it to be jamming. In most of the cases it is debris that are stuck in the blades of the blender that causes it to be stuck.

I have accidentally had the mains plug taken out of the wall socket for my blender while it was switched on and had not turned it off first. Now it doesn’t work anymore.

I think that the fuses are not working anymore and need to be replaced and the blenders motor is no longer working and needs to be replaced too. It would be more convenient to buy a new blender than to fix the current blender that you have that is not working anymore.

Well it might just be over heated, let it cool for approx 20 minutes then restart if it doesn't then u may try switching electrical outlets, if that doesn't work then it needs to be replaced. I hope that this helps, if not please let me know and i will try and help you out as much as i can.

Power light blinks and blender won't turn on

Probably just a fuse. Also try a different outlet. Check the manual for fuse location and other possible solutions.

Plug something else into the electrical receptical to verify you have power from your outlet. Then remove bottle and blade assembly; and press the two small black micro-switches inside the base of the blender. If your blender still won't turn on then you may have a faulty motor or motor connection.

My ninja blender is brand new and i plugged it in and it doesn't start. what do i do?

There's an arrow on the lid and an arrow on the handle and they have to line up and point towards each other. When you lock the lid down it pushes a pin inside the handle which in turn pushes a swith inside the base of the blender that tells it that everything is in place and that its safe to use. Now its ready to use

My blender slowed down when I tried to make a smoothie. It doesn't seem to have the full power anymore.

If the motor of the blender is running at a slower speed now no matter what you're blending, the unit needs to repaired or replaced. Most small appliance manufacturers    { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } A:link { so-language: zxx } --> don't repair their units anymore, they simply replace them. If you're no longer in warranty, unless you paid over $200 for the blender, it's time to get a new one.

Blinking lights on KitchenAid blender

Alternating blinking lights on a Kitchenaid blender indicate a bad circuit board which is unable to run the motor properly. Unplug the blender, take the jar off, and turn the spindle by hand. Then plug it back in. If it does not work properly, try a different outlet (perhaps not in the kitchen). If nothing works, the blender needs to be repaired.
