PY-LM1E-C LCD projector. Why isn't picture clear?

And there is nothing to read about it in the manual ?

Maybe its only an obvious problem that the lamp/ bulb is damaged ?

The LCD panel connectors could be loose
if not the LCD assembly may itself be at fault and make require replacement.

Your projector might have a problem with the cooling system. When that happens projectors shut off automatically due to overheating.
Check whether the fans are working. If they do, and if it is somewhat old, open the cover and clean the 'air filters' that might have bee blocked due to dust.

is the air filter cleaned up properly. are all the fans switching on correctly. are there any blockages to the air flow that would cause overheating

Your lamp ballast could be bad. If you have had it unplugged for a while, plug it in for about an hour before turning on, then reset your lamp timer.

Your lamp is going out, replace it and then reset your lamp timer through menu.

There is normally a sequence of buttons on the Projector that needs to be pressed ! What make and model do you have ?

Press 'menu' and 'enter' buttons at the same time.
