Hello!!! My samsung TV is making a clicking sound, and red light flashes, I don't know if the TV is actually on or if it's just appears to be a black screen.

Sounds like a bad y-sustain board. Unhook the board and see if the clicking goes away.

Cheaper to replace than fix, trust me on this.

Hi that sounds like your power supply is defective. The flashing light is actually a code that you can look up in the service manual. Depending on the number of times it flashes. If yo are going to order the part yourself you have to actually get the part number from the actual part. Don't order it just by the model number of the TV because manufactures make a few different versions of the same model TV.

Clicking and not switched on because capacitors on pcb power have damage.
open and change the capacitors can solved your problem.

Lets go back to the beginning... What were the original symptoms? Was it just the clicking or were the lights on the front of the set flashing too? With the new lamp, is there any thing else other than the clicking? If not, then the problem is likely to be the ballast. The clicking could be the lamp attempting to "fire". With a defective ballast, the lamp won't fire and the set won't come on. If you choose to replace the ballast, DO NOT use the old lamp. It is relatively common for a defective lamp to smoke the ballast under certain conditions. Also, it is possible that the original cause was the ballast that failed and took out the lamp with it.

what the full model number of your tv?
the clicking sound is the result of a faulty power supply, some capacitors(blown heads) on the power supply for the output voltage rail of the mains board need to be replaced.

being that it fell , this is already a bad sign that the screen is dammaged and it will need to be tested and looked at to see what other dammage has happen to it
