It may be a sticking float switch. The float switch controls the level of water in the dishwasher and if it is sticking on or off it could cause them problems you have
part numbers 263834 and 263185.

There is a recall repair notice for this model (and several other models) on the Bosch website. There is a faulty controller which may cause a fire! They have an 800 number for setting up a recall repair appointment. Check it out! We just found out by accident of the recall...we were never notified, even though we registered our Bosch SHU33UC unit when we bought it...poor customer service!

remove outer door skin and kick plate at base pump will be on view turn off power look carefully at pump you will see a lever you have to cut away a small section of plastic on lever to be able to push it inwards pump then twists off anticlockwise is a bayonet fitting like a light bulb.
