Can anyone help. I am trying to run an ADC LCD monitor on an old machine (windows 2000) and i just get a black screen with a box in the middle saying 'input not supported'. I can boot up in safe mode but thats it...
Seems that you have set the resolution on your graphics card to a
setting higher than the maximum resolution supported by your monitor.
Try
to boot into Safe Mode & lower the resolution of your graphics
card. If not possible, go to Device Manager & remove the graphics
card from it, then reboot your computer. This will reset the resolution.
You can then re-install your graphics card drivers & get it to work properly.
1. Make sure your computer is off.
2. Turn on computer then tap F8 repeatedly once per second. Similarly, Windows advanced options menu should be up on you screen.
3. use arrow keys to highlight "safe mode".
4. press enter twice.
5. log on to your user profile
6. you will get a window asking you to press "yes" or "no". CLICK the YES button.
7. perform the next steps below according to your windows version (operating system)
