What it is you are cooking with and where the smoke is coming from. If its from an oven, does it need cleaning? Its not a good idea to ever turn off a smoke alarm, you would be trouble if there was a real fire.

Turn off tamper on gardtec 350 so I can fix socket

If you are disarmed, you should only get a trouble signal when you remove AC power, This should clear when power is re-established. The tamper is a switch inside the panel that trips when the door is opened. This too should be only a trouble if the panel is not armed. (Unless the tamper is programmed for instant alarm like a panic or fire alarm input.) Check your manual for the programming instructions for bypassing or disabling the tamper. Another thing you can do is disconnect the backup battery before removing the AC power, this will stop any alarms, but you should notify your monitoring company first.

Does not have fire coming to the sparkplug.

check plug cap resistance against a new one ! touch ht lead to earth or if your brave hold it and crank engine ! it wont kill you !

I have a moose z1100e and after a power outage i cant get in to program, what do i need to do?

It has been my experience that if an alarm panel behaves differently after a storm or power outage I would power system down wait 1 min power back up. If that does not help. Then I would try to default the panel and reprogram it, if the customer was desperate to keep it. If not(taps plays in backround) time to replace panel.

When we purchased our home it came with a Sentrol ZXLCD. We don't have monitoring service. Now, once in a whike, alarm goes on, 'low battery' is displayed. What do I do?

Your best bet is if you can't find your owners manual.Purchase one Here. And I am sure it will explain what you need to do.

What model is your alarm system? The maker (Honeywell, Ademco, DSC, Napco, Caddx, ITI, GE, Moose, Morse, etc etc etc) and model number is usually inside the door of the control panel cabinet on a diagram. Numbers printed at the top of the control panel (NOT the keypad) circuit board is also helpful.

Call your fire panel representative. I have seen this problem and consulted with the factory. It has something to do with the program loaded into your system.
