If still works means is not dangerous. It could responsible for something what you dont use too often like audio output etc or filtering capacitor on power supply, backlight and more

The shift linkage could have come undone or be damaged (hence the pop sound) also could be an electrical fault (fuse making a pop sound when it fails)

Sounds like you have a much bigger problem than just a fuse. Popping sound and burning smell means something much more serious.

Tv when plugged in trips main fuse box

If there is a short circuit inside the TV, the fuse should normally blow first before tripping your breaker. The only exception is if you have a short in the ac cord or the line filter of the TV set. Have you tried the tv on another circuit to see if it trips that breaker? If not, it could be that your first circuit is close to an overload and the TV is simply pushing the circuit "over the edge".

My cooler just stop after spark on the socket it was working fine now i change the wire but it dont turn on

check the fuse in the plug. check your fuse board also. a circuit breaker may have tripped down, or you may have blown a circuit fuse if its the really old type. plug in another electrical device to check.

Tv made loud popping noise when turned on now doesnt work

The problem is with the voltage capacitors and transformers on power circuit board. Some of them has burnt off and so only you are having this smell and popping sound. You have to take voltage readings and test power supply components such as bridge rectifiers and capacitors. If there is no voltage rating you need to replace that part if not you have to check the soldering joints and solder it again.
