Stealth cam 1590 takes good pictures in house but outsidepictures are white like snow

The infra-red source light must be inoperative. Bring it inside in a dark room and move around, look for the red light ring.

Replace the bulb. If you are going crazy while getting a new bulb turn off the breaker for the room. A serious design flaw, I would complain to Casablanca if you have the time.

are you on manual or auto? if manual sounds silly but your shutter length is too short/ aperture too small (big number) if auto, do you have flash turned on? if all the above obvious to you... the light sensor on the front might be broke so your cam is picking wrong settings

Mine will take a LOT less pictures when the batteries are low. Use fresh alkaline batteries and make sure the battery contacts in the camera are not corroded.

What size card are you using? This camera will only take a 2Gb card and may not read anything larger. Try a smaller Gb card

I have a Stealth Cam Skout 7. The screen displays Loc or Lock. To fix this.. On the side of your SD card there should be a little rectangle that will slide back and forth. Slide it the opposite way to unlock it.

Have you by any chance moved the small slide to lock the card by accident.

i opened up the unit and found the wire from the cover had became loose from its soldered point, where does it go so i can resolder it.
