I have a problem with me zebra 105 se, the problem is the ribbons is tense and then the ribbon is broken

    Ribbon take up spindle winds so tight after 50-100 labels can not get J hook off. I have replaced take up spindle, oiled the felt washers on supply ran the printhead tension all the way out but nothing has worked.

Your supply spindle is "too tight".

Procure a "Washer Felt w/lube kit" (Zebra part number 01688-140) and rework the supply spindle. Use only the supplied silicone oil to service the felt washers.

Adjust the tension on the spindle in accordance with the service manual procedure.

No you cannot use a ZXP Series 3 ribbon on a ZXP Series 1, or vice-versa. All Zebra ribbons contain RFID tags with ribbon specifications, including the ribbon type (part-number). Error condition ribon out for zebre 105 sl
This may be due to the fact that your ribbon is too translucid, back quality transfer films.
To overcome this you must use a bit of scotch and a piece of film and stick it on the ribbon sensor.
Else try a callibate to see if the error is not solved

I have a Zebra 105 SL, I have the ribbon installed but the printer tells me that the ribbon is out. I've tried changing the ribbon and labels out but as soon as I power it back up and try printing again...
Calibrate the printer from the setup menu.

You'll (1) Load the label backing with the ribbon (2) remove the ribbon - just shove it to the right, out of the way of the ribbon sensor (3) reload the label and ribbon.

The printer will run a number of labels out.

Keep getting broken ribbon message on zebra P330i printer
Hello, assuming the supplies are Zebra and there is no discernible damage to the ribbon, it could mean that the ribbon sensor on the printer is broken. if your printer is still under warranty you can ship back to Zebra (Illinois) to get it repaired. The zebra website has info on how to return printers for service. Hope this helps.

I have Broken ribbon message on the LCD display. I just changed the ribbon and the clean cartridge. Hellp
It could be that the printhead is damaged or the ribbon sensor needs repair. Call Zebra troubleshooting for help. If it is under warranty you can send the printer back to zebra for repair. Takes about 3-5 days. All the info is on their website. good luck.

It could mean that the ribbon sensor on the printer is broken. Sounds like you need to send back to zebra for repair. This is free if printer is still under warranty. check out zebra's website for info on how to return printers for service.

Zebra 105 SE Printing Blank Labels
You need the correct driver for the 105Se. The 300 dpi SL driver is not compatible.

Unfortunately, Zebra does not make it's older drivers available online. You will need to locacte someone with the correct driver for whichever version of Windows you are using.
