As you can see, different problems can be caused by different cables. If you want to learn more, you can always ask your technician.
Before you leave, take a look at some of the different types of cables out there. You can also learn more about the different type of laser printers : and their functions on the Internet.
Once you've learned more about the different types of cables, you should be able to repair your printer yourself in no time. or with someone else who has more experience. Just be sure to have them replace all the cables so that you don't mess anything up.

My hp 900 inkjet is offline and doesn't want to feed paper.

The solution for an offline error of a printer is to check the proper connection of the printer.

Two options exist to turn off the offline mode.

If you choose the first option to change the offline state of the printer,

then go to Control Panel and then 'Printer and Faxes' option on the Control Panel.

Double-click on the printer you want to change to online mode from the displayed window.

A pop-up window will open and you need to select 'Uncheck Printer Offline' option from the menu bar.

try this:

Hope this helps you.

Scanner error 20 in hp ml005

Here's a quirky little fix..apparently if you open up Microsoft Word and print a blank document, the problem mysteriously goes away. Go figure!
I'm unsure if you need to leave word open or not, but you can experiment with that.

If that doesn't work, open up the printer and clean the curved lens.
Leave the printer unplugged from the wall for 20 minutes to clear the error state
plug the printer back in, and print a blank word document.

Now try using the printer as normal.

Hp laserjet 5000N 50.1 fuser error

Turn the printer off and leave it off for at least 30 minutes. Turn it back on. If the error recurs, turn the printer off and unplug it. Remove the fuser after letting it cool for at least 30 minutes being very carefult with it since it may still be hot and inspect it for damage. If damage is noted, the fuser will need to be replaced. Otherwise, reinstall the fuser, plug the printer in and turn it on. If it doesn't return to a READY state, cantact HP to find an authorized service center to get it repaired.

HP 1000 Laser Jet Printer - error printing

Turn the printer off and then back on. Does it go to the ready state? or does it come up and error? If the error only comes up when asking the printer to print then the printer probably has a worn paper pickup roller. You can take the old roller out and rotate the rubber tyre a little.
