How do I skip the refreshing data base every time that i turn my sansa on?

The only ways to do that are to remove the microSD card or leave the Sansa turned on. Whenever you turn it on with a microSD card in the slot, the machine has no way of telling whether you've put in a new card and/or added/deleted content on the card. The only way it can determine what's on the card is to refresh the database.

My sansa e250r mp3 player keeps freezing on the refresh database screen. I can't do anything. What can i do?

Hello,

You could try, resetting the e200 series player as told in next link:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/189

If that won't help, updating the player should be performed.
In next page is showed how to use the Sansa Firmware Updater:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/306
note:
Before updating, backup the content from the player to your computer !

(e260R) Refresh Database eternal loop

Turn it on into recovery mode (Hold + Record Button + Power)
Connect to computer (You should detect a 16MB drive)
Make an empty text file inside the 16MB Drive and rename it to "sansa.fmt"
Unplug the Sansa. You should see now a "Formatting..." on the Sansa's screen.
Sansa fixed!

MP3 needs to refresh DataBase?

You have to many songs a sansa e 250 only holds a certain amount of space so your best bet is to buy a memory card or delete songs so you can add new ones.

Refreshing data base

It refreshes the database to build the menu for you to navigate.

Your device may have corrupt data in it and therefore takes longer than normal to build the library.

You can format the device to remove everything, and then re-transfer them to see if that helps.

To format in My Computer>Device Name (e250)>right Click and select format.

Best of Luck.
