there are specs inside the case, on the bottom, for my systemax venture. there is also a serial number on the back of the tower, on the outside; however, i believe that the systemax desktops were actually assembled by tiger direct.com.

Try these instructions... All fans are roughly the same procedure.
Well meaure it in mm or in inchs, then convert it to mm. Then buy the fan off of newegg.com just make sure you get a two ball bearing fan because they last allot longer.
You can always use a program like driver genius or Boot from a Knoppix cd and run ls pci from the command window. If the card is not integrated in the motherboard pop it out and get the numbers off the card itself.
Worst case scenario is put a 10 dollar pci ethernet card in it :)
Hi there. Remove all power to the desktop, remove the side panel, power the machine up and check that CPU fan is working, if it is turn the computer back off, get a clean, dry paintbrush and gently clean the fan blades and the metal heat sync behind the fan of dust, then restart the PC to see how long it stays on for. If this time it stays on it was overheating.
All motherboards have a print beside the pins,
Speaker= "speak",
"pwr s" =powerswitch, "HDDled" red light on front, rst = reset switch [not allways used] "pwr led" Green led, the case wires are usualy marked on the plug ends with the same ,
"hdd" "reset" and so on. The power switch will work both way's around however the led lights wont. You will not hurt anything if they are the wrong way around, they just wont work so if you dont get lights just reverse the polarity.
If by chance the case wires do not have labels the just trace them to the case front panel and plug them into the corresponding board pins.
