Tub has come off its springs?? rince cycle clothes still very wet. how to fix diy??

Step 1 - Record Specifications Carefully read your owner's manual to find the specifications for the washing machine drain hose. If you are unable to locate it, look at the steel tab at the back of the washing machine, and write down the model and serial number instead.
Step 2 - Purchase New Hose Head to your hardware store and show this information to a representative to get help in finding an appropriate replacement drain hose.
Step 3 - Cut the Power and Water Before you start replacing the washing machine drain hose, make sure to pull the power cord out the wall socket. Better yet, turn off the power supply to the washing machine at the circuit breaker.
Similarly, turn the knob on the water supply line to the washer. If you cannot locate it then temporarily turn off the water altogether. Afterward, lift and shift the drain tube into a bucket, so that any accumulated fluid in the hose will fill this instead of spilling out all over the floor.
Step 4 - Remove the Old Drain Hose Your drain hose will be held in place by clamps attached at the back of the washing machine. Hold the clamp with pliers and unscrew it out of its position with a screwdriver. After removing the clamp, inspect it. If it is not damaged or corroded by rust it can be used again, but if not toss it away and install a new clamp after the replacement hose is in place.
Step 5 - Secure the New Drain Hose Take the new hose and slide the clamp on; it should go through the straight end. Now, place the hose onto the connector located at the back of the washing machine, and slide the clamp to where the hose rests on the connector. With a wrench, make the hold of the clamp tight. Make sure it is fit in properly so that you will have no problems with leakage.
Step 6 - Put the Machine Back and Test Place the washing machine back in position, and reconnect the drain tube to the pipe. Then, turn on the power supply and open the water supply so you can test that everything is working as it should.

Leaking washing machine

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways andis the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it isimportant that your observation is most important and so is vital to theidentification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water hasleaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on theunderside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here.In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of thehouse and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be looseon the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning thedrain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water canleak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but thiswill happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.Tips for leak: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1461/do-you-have-a-leaky-washing-machine.html Check for tips on the link below to identify parts andremoval:http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7

How do you change the drain hose on an amana washing michine

hello. The existing drain hose is a friction fit held in place with a wire clamp. Use a pair of channel locks or pliers to slide the wire clamp about 6 inches up the hose and then work it off of the fitting it is attached to. If it has been there for a long time you will find it useful to warm up the drain hose with a hair blow dryer. Regards, Joe
PS - kindly rate my answer. thank you.

The drain hose on our washer is leaking outside the washer onto the floor. I bought a replacement at Lowe's, but I don't know how to remove the old one. The model is an Amana #LW1502L.

its on a barbed plastic fitting on the machine, the hose gets hardened from toe waste water going through it over the years, take a serrated knife or hacksaw blade and cut a **** lengthwise on old hose,be careful not to cut into machine fitting when doing so tho

Replacing drainage hose

You need to remove the two screws that hold the front panel in place. Remove the hose from the drain pump and pull it out through the back of the machine. You will need to release the clip that holds the hose in place where it exits the back of the washer. Important. When installing the new hose, ensure that you put it back in the clamps inside the machine or it will get caught in the pulley.
