Unfortunately you'll need to replace the keyboard, unless you know electronics and how to fix it. There are contacts inside the keyboard that connect the keys to the computer. It's likely these were damaged for some of the keys.

I did the same thing to a keyboard myself and had the same problem. When I opened the keyboard up, there were fried contacts. There is a way to fix this, but it requires special conductive paint and of course opening the keyboard.

Hello, if the mouse is double clicking randomly means the mouse button or button soldering are broken, maybe you might want to try opening it up and resoldering the mouse button, if it doesn't work you can use an old mouse button that fits the space and solder that one in the mouse that's having problems, reassemble and see if it works, the good news is that most of the time it does.

If the mouse uses a laser to detect motion over a surface, make sure that the surface is clean and uniform in colour.

If the mouse has a spinning ball, then remove the cover that holds the ball in place, and remove the ball. You'll see two "rollers" -- gently scrape all "gunk" off each roller. Reassemble.

If you remove the battery cover you will see 2 small phillips head screws remove them and this will allow the part that goes around the wheel to be removed now make sure that there is no lint or dust build up around the wheel assembly canned air works great for cleaning these out then reassemble the cover and test
Now if it still doesent work than you can assume that the controle sensor for the wheel is bad in this case if you still have the warranty i would take the mouse back and exchange it for a new one
To have this repaired would cost more than what the mouse is worth ok

If you can't get them back together, it's time to buy a new mouse. And don't open it again. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.

it was junk anyway, after about a year or two of service the spring will wear and you will have to send it into logitech, if they cant fix it they will then ask if you want a refund, i would say yes and just apply that money towards a new joystick. My friend had the same joystick and it wore out after two years. he disassembled it, and tried to fix the problem, then he reassembled it and then it didnt work period although everything was ok, so he just tossed it in the trash and bought another one.
