I can't solve the problem, but just wanted to sympathize because I have the same problem. My pedal is broken on my Yamaha Clavinova cvp85a. It worked wonderfully for years but finally it broke. I'd be in the market for buying a new pedal or fixing the old one. But I've not found any suggestions in any of these forums for either solution.
