SOURCE: i have a averatec 5110H notebook, when i power-up

It is bios password.
Now if you forgot it then you have reset your bios settings.
For that you have to open back cover of laptop.
Then find motherbord pull CMOS cell from motherbord for 10 minutes then put again to it's position.
Then it not ask for password.

Have you made an attempt to enter the controller using the 192.168.0.1 in the command line of your internet explorer? The numeric sequence may need to changed using 192.168.1.0 or other codes as I cannot advise which address is available to you. Once you are in the setup using adm and No password, everything else is up to you.

Don't know password

You need to reset the BIOS by moving the jumper on the motherboard.

If you are typing the password correct and even showing the warning message 'Invalid password' then its not your fault. It some times happens with Yahoo mail and everyone ahs to or will face this error from Yahoo at once.

when it says invalid password there should be an option that says forgot password. click that and it will ask u a question you chose when you set up the computer incase this ever happens

Try to hit ESC key instead of ENTER key.

Hope this trick works for you.

If not consider the old passion way disconnect the cmos battery for the meantime then plug it again this should reset the password but it more tedious.

Password

Tis seems to be a problem with your BIOS. I will suggest you to open the CPU tower and take out the CMOS battery. It is located on the mother board. And it looks like a coin. Just take out the battery and put it back and all will be fine.
