When i plug the cable into the joystick control (MK5SOJ+) all the lights around the horn button blink on and off motor wont engage and it won't shut off til pull out the cable do i need a

Hello,

When you say the power cable I hope you mean the cable that comes from the main control module under the chair. I want to make sure you are not talking about the AC power cable that plugs from the chair to a wall outlet. So if we are on the same page about the cable is the one going from the joystick to the main control module under the chair and all you do is plug it in and the green speed lights start to blink this would indicate the joystick is bad.

Unlock a spj+ joystick on a pronto m41

Hello,
Lets make sure this is just the joystick lock mode. When you turn the chair on and it is in joystick lock mode all the battery level lights will chase across several times and then the joystick will turn off.
When you turn the chair on and you see the battery level lights chasing from right to left push and hold down the power button till the lights turn off. Only the first year that the M41 was made had this option.

I would like to know how toadmust the sencitivity on the wobble stick

You have to have a Invacare Remote Programmer to plug into the joystick and program different sensitivity levels. Sorry, there is no other way to adjust the joystick. Find a store that sells Invacare chairs and see if they can program your joystick. The programmers are expensive to buy and without training with one you could easily cause your chair to really drive bad to not drive at all.

My M41 invacare controller keeps flashing and it flashes 5 times. I don't understand what the fix for this.

If your M41 has the mark V controller that is seen pictured in the stock photo you provided, the 5 flash code is a left park brake fault.
1. Turn off the chair.
2.Disengage the left motor (levers are located in front under the seat) roll the chair back and forth and re-engage the left motor.
3. Engage the left motor.
4. Turn on chair.

If you happen to have the older Mark IV controller (has a toggle switch to turn on/off and three battery lights), the 5 flash code means the chair is receiving high or low voltage from the batteries. I would recommend having the batteries checked.

If the chair stops flashing, you are good to go. If the chair is still flashing, you will need to contact a technician to possibly replace the left brake. I recommend Repair Xpress FixMyPWC com Nationwide service and delivery solution for power...

We put gears on it starts goin then it stops it self

Hello,

Look at the joystick when the chair stops. The battery level lights should be blinking a certain number of them repeatedly. The lights are a diagnostic code. The number of the battery level lights blinking will tell you if you have a motor, joystick, module or battery problem.

Chair is slowing down. Batteries are fully charged.

How old are the batteries? Even fully charged older batteries can be weaker and not give you as much power to keep the speed at what you are used to. Now a dragging bake can cause you to go slower and also drag the batteries down quicker. Try driving the chair and after awhile check each motor to see if they feel overly warm or hot If one or both feel very warm or hot then I would have the brake or brakes checked If they seen ok I would get the batteries replaced

Wwe have a pronto m41 mobility chair.the service indicator light is telling me its a right brake problem can i fix this and how. also the led lights are chasing left to right. i have to get this working...

First thing you must know is that the error codes are reversed on Pronto chairs with SPJ+ joysticks.
Only one year the M41 was made that the codes were correct. From approximately April 2008 to May 2009 was the only time a left error code ment left motor and a right code ment a right motor. Same for brake codes.
Brakes codes happen when the brake is out of gear, unplugged from the control brain or wire cut. Also from internal coil damage. Unless it's a wire you can reconnect you cannot fix the brake.

Wheelchair will not move. has 2 wrenches as error

Mr Witaker the 2 flashes follwed by a pause and 2 more flashes etc indicate a battery fault if you have all the battery level lights on the joystick lit up and you are sure the batteries were charged then there is a problem with one of the batteries that the controller doesn't like. try turning the chair off and letting it rest for a while then turn it back on if you still get the two flashes then I would say you need to replace the batteries Now if Medicare purchased your chair they will pay for most of the repair costs you can contact Repair Xpress Tuesday at 1-877-581-3733 to see if they have a tech in your area or call Roadrunner Mobility at 1-800-467-2668 for the techs in your area. Hope this helps
