Pegasus 131-926 toilet not filling do you adjust this. The tank only fills up a little more than half, so it doesn't have enough water available for a complete flush.

Where can I get a fill valve for Pegasus toilet

Use a fluid master universal fill valve, if it fits the tank. It will work as long as no part of the unit rests agains the side of the tank, if it does it will keep the float from rising.

Not sure on that toilet but you can fill a water bottle with the desired amount of water and then stick it in the tank thus tricking the toilet to put less water into the bowl with each flush. If you want more water though I am not sure how to do it.

How do I lower the level of the water in the tank so I do not use as much water per flush? I have a Pegasus 2 piece toilet thats about 2 years old

Hi there terminator,

Inside the tank, directly above where the water hose is attached, is the valve mechanism. Attached to this valve there is a float.

As the water level rises so does the float. When it get high enough, the float valve shuts off the water.

The idea is to lower the float so the water is turned off sooner.

If your model has a ball on a metal arm, it is as simple as bending the arm down a little bit.

Vertical cylinder types have adjustments on them.

Then there is the simplest solution which is to put a couple of bottles full of water in the tank to take up space. Therefore less water is needed to fill it...

Best regards

How do I adjust tank fill valve to increase water level in toilet?

There are many different fill valves out there so it would be a little hard to tell you how to adjust your particular one without knowing the brand and type of the fill valve.
So I will give you a generic adjustment.
Look for someway/something to adjust your float in the toilet tank.
There should be a screw, moveable metal, something that will adjust your float.
Once you locate the adjustment, you can then adjust your water level in the toilet tank.
Adjust the water level in the toilet tank to be about a 1/4-1/2 inch before it flows out of the overflow tube when the water shuts off.
Good Luck, I hope this helped.
Please rate me, Thanks
