First make sure the exhaust vent is clean. If too much heat is detected the thermostat switch will shut down. Could have been a bad connection at the plug.

Sounds as if you have a clog somewhere. This is designed to stop running when it senses there is a back flow or resistance to the air pushing through here.
Im assuming you have a steam dry option? If this is the case there are fuses attached to this system to avoid injury and bad this from happening. These fuses blow a lot. If you have a ohms meter, check the fuses on the steam dry unit for ohms. I bet one of them is blown and that is the reason your not getting heat during this cycle.
Check the door switch. It may be at fault here. Open the door and hold the switch by hand and start the dryer. The switch should have a firm resistance to it when you push it. If you should find this bad, here is the replacement switch. If the switch is ok, then the motor is bad. Here is the motor to order.
Try opening and closing the door a few times it might be the door interlock switch, Are your plugs fused like in the UK. If so check fuse, or there will be a safety fuse inside the dryer which has blown in which case it will have to be examined by a qualified repairer.
your dryer has a safety feature that it will not run or heat when the door is opened. It is so no gas fumes are exhauseted into your home. aye, see if you can enter the diagnosis mode. What we are looking for is the F-02 code. This will flash when there is a stuck button or user interface problem and only displayed in the test mode. With the unit plugged in and all indicator lights off, select any button except stop. Press for 3 seconds, release for 3 seconds, press for 3 seconds, release for 3 secnds and press for 3 seconds. If you did it right 88 should appear. Press the same button again and if there is a error, it should show up. If no error code shows, open the consol and check the p-5 connector. This will be the interface ribbon to the board. Reseat it and see if the problem stops. Catriver
