I was wondering if there was someone I could ask about my Element ELEFW605 TV. I had bought it used and I'm sure that's my first mistake. But it started having this spot show up after being on for 10 minutes on a chromecast setup screen. I'm unsure what's going on, I'd like to note that it was also just mounted as well. I'm unsure if I somehow hit something with the seemingly short screws that went into the back or if this is even able to be fixed

SOURCE: Blank screen when tv has been on for 10-20 minutes

Hi jilanfa00,
I am happy to help, we need to check the backlight inverter.

  1. Turn tv on and get to a point that you have audio.
  2. Take a flashlight and shine it on the screen.
  3. Look very closely at the screen for a very dark video image.
If you see an image you have a bad inverter, you should be able to replace it yourself. I can walk you through in chat. Let me know your findings. Lone99star

SOURCE: no screws for wall mounting 42 inch tv

any hardware store will have them bring your tv manual with you it will tell you the spec on the screw to connect to the 4 pre existing nuts on the back of the tv as far as from the mount to wall it will be a standard lag bolt small enough to fit threw the hole and long enough to go threw the drywall and about an inch and a half of the studd 2" to 2 1/2" inch lag bolt will work

I have an Element 60" tv elefw605 that has 1-2" black vertical lines on the right half of the screen. The lines run OVER the menu. Replaced the pwr supply, main board and the T- board. No change. ?

The display of your T.V. may have burnt out and may need to be completely replaced. My other answers would have been to replace the items you stated you replaced.

I have an element tv that isn't displaying picture only sound.

Most likely it's the LED driver. It could be on the main board or the power supply board. These people can get you the correct parts: TV Parts Universal TV Stands DLP Chips ShopJimmy

Element tv model ELEFW605 dead set. voltages all ok except led voltages to panel are 0 volts. power on voltage is constant 4.5 volts no change when power button is pushed.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

My 60 inch element TV model ELEFW605 started doing this this morning, not sure what the problem is. It's a LED TV. The whole left side is dark with a white line going horizontally across the center.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

I replaced the battery in my 2004 Honda Element and now my radio needs a code to work again. I bought the car used and never got any code. I've looked in several places where I read the code is sometimes...

You will need to go to your dealer and ask them to give you the code. If you are sure that you have the right serial number ask the service advisor for the code.
