How do I connect a wireless head set to a Dynex Television Model DX-37L200A12

Using the appropriate cable for the transmitter that came with the wireless headphones, connect one end of the cable to the AUDIO OUT jack on your TV set and the other end to the AUDIO IN jack of the transmitter. If your headphones came with rechargeable batteries, don't forget to charge them before using the headphones.

Once there you can use the e-mail function to talk to customer support. You can also use the Dynex customer support telephone number 1-800-305-2204 between the hours of 7am and 12 am CST. Give them the model number of your television and the problem you are having with the use of the headphones. I hope this information helps you solve your problem. How do I get headphones to work with my TV? o Connect the headphone cable to the headphone jack on the side of your TV. o The sound will be heard through both the headphones and on the TV speakers. o Press Mute to hear sound only through the headphones. o Use the volume buttons on the remote to adjust the volume level. o You must remember to press mute again to hear sound through speakers. It will not automatically come on when you unplug the headphones.

Rear audio jacks

Try pressing the mute button on the remote control. This control will normally allow you isolate the sound to only the headphone jacks. It may be that it was pushed accidentally and was left that way. If this does not solve your problem you can call the Dynex customer support at this telephone number 1-800-305-2204 between the hours of 7am-12am CST. You can also visit their website at this web address.(http://www.dynexproducts.com/pc-680-23-dynex-32-720p-flat-panel-lcd-hdtv-matte-black.aspx) Just copy the address and paste it into the address bar on your browser. This will take you to the customer support page for you model television and you can use the e-mail function to contact the customer support directly. No sound through the headphones

The way the headphone jack works is:

plug your headphones in and then mute the television using the remote.

While the TV is muted you can still use the volume up and down controls to adjust the volume through the headphones. I find that having the volume at 60-75% is more than loud enough on the headphones.

Just be careful when you unplug the headphones and take the TV off of mute, if your volume levels are still turned up you will be in for a jolt :)
